Last Sunday, December 10, was marked by the dazzling ceremony of the third edition of the Media Levanjil Awards, a prestigious event orchestrated by the same ©dia chrétien MediaLevanjil Haiti and masterfully directed by Jean Carlos Mesy. The dazzling Vilate in Pétion-Ville served as an enchanting setting for this memorable evening, dedicated to honoring the exceptional contributions of Christian artists and groups to the music industry evangelical during the year 2023.
Distinguished personalities include iconic figures such as Fr Luckson Zòn Pa Fè Moun, Maestro Joseph Pierre, Stephie Pierre Ministries, Pastor Evens RedemptiKarl Foster Candio, and many others, all honored with special mentions for their commitment and remarkable impact.
The winners of this edition shone brightly. Louchina Decius was crowned female artist of the year, also winning the prestigious prize for best collaboration for her composition alongside rapper Fre Gabe, called  “ÂSAK FÈW RENMEN M”. Delly Benson was recognized as a Distinguished Male Artist with his powerful song “MWEN SOU KONT AWO”. The family group Valéus Sisters Officiel was honored with the title of best album of the year for their work entitled “#Repères”, and the group Holy Music Haiti was crowned group of the year, highlighting their exceptional influence and talent.
This evening was much more than a simple awards ceremony. It was the scene of a passionate celebration of diversity and excellence within the evangelical music scene, highlighting re artists such as Tamara B. Raphaël, Samantha DoizinLafontant Gaëtan D., Rachelle Geffrard, Vava. An ode to creativity and inspiration, the Media Levanjil Awards continue to make gospel music history, celebrating those who raise their voices for casting light through melody.
