Night of International Worship and Digital Impact

Featured artists and speakers included Lauren Daigle, CeCe Winans, Phil Wickham, Brooke Ligertwood, Matt Redman, Christine Caine, Craig Groeschel, Kari Jobe, and Cody Carnes. The celebration, streamed free via the YouVersion app and its partners, blended worship music, testimonies, and teachings to honor the universal reach of Scripture and the growth of its digital distribution.

Bobby Gruenewald, YouVersion founder and CEO, remarked:

“This global mobilization shows that the Bible continues to transform lives far beyond traditional boundaries.”

Record Year for Bible Engagement

According to YouVersion, 2025 has already seen a 12% increase in app installs and an 18% rise in daily usage compared to last year. Across the group’s applications, users open the Bible one billion times each month.

With more than 3,600 translations in 2,300+ languages, the YouVersion project enables Scripture access for many previously under-served communities.

Renewed Momentum in the United Kingdom

This global momentum is especially evident in the UK, where over 17.7 million installations have been recorded. Stephen Foster, Rector in Oxford, observes, “The passion for daily Bible reading among young people marks a tangible spiritual renewal in the country.”

Global Bible Month: Taking Stock

Yesterday’s livestream capped Global Bible Month, organized with partners such as Glorify, Hallow, and The Bible Project. The November 30-Day Bible Challenge continues to invite everyone to (re)discover Scripture each day, whether digitally or in print.

Gruenewald urged participants to maintain the momentum:

“We hope this wave of engagement won’t stop here and will inspire ongoing daily Scripture reading.”
