Two-time GRAMMY Award nominees We The Kingdom have already sold out 13 shows on their first-ever headlining tour. Now, they’re bringing their dynamic, invigorating performances to fans with the release of their album “Live At Ocean Way Nashville” on Friday, July 2 via Capitol Christian Music Group.
Recorded at Ocean Way Studios in Nashville, the album’s title track “Child Of Love” is a live rendition of the K-LOVE Fan Award-nominated breakout single and Top 10 Billboard Christian Song. The soulful, organ-led groove is given new life; watch/listen to “Child of Love” here: https://wtk.lnk.to/COLlivePR
“This song, like many of ours, came from procrastination during rehearsals,” says band member Scott Cash. “We started jamming on a riff, Franni started singing the melody, and a song came out that reflects the band’s various musical influences…and captures our passion for worship at the same time. For us, it’s worship; it’s rock and roll and a little bit of yacht rock, all wrapped up in a song that we love with all our hearts.”
We The Kingdom joins a roster of iconic artists who have recorded at Ocean Way in Nashville, including Paul Simon, George Strait, Harry Connick Jr., Sheryl Crow and more. The live album features songs from the band’s 2019 Billboard Music Award-nominated and chart-topping debut album, “Holy Water,” which included the No. 1 singles “Holy Water” and “God So Loved.”
We The Kingdom is a multi-generational musical family comprised of brothers Ed Cash and Scott Cash, Ed’s children Franni Rae Cash Cain and Martin Cash, and close family friend Andrew Bergthold. They were Billboard’s Top New Christian Artist of 2020, the Dove Awards’ New Artist of the Year for 2020, and have amassed over 265 million streams worldwide.
Tour dates currently run through November 2021 (all local and state protocols being followed), with stops at major arenas – including Red Rocks Amphitheatre – fairs, festivals and venues across the UNITED STATES. For tickets and more information, visit wethekingdom.com.
