TAYA acoustic video “For all my life”

World famous singer TAYA has released her first solo single, “For all my life,” from his debut solo album released earlier this year (March 18). The album is set to be released on May 27 as part of a new partnership with Capitol CMG. Available today (May 2), is an official acoustic video for the first track. This project marks a new adventure for the famous singer, ahead of her first full-length project as a solo artist. The 14-track self-titled album is available now for Pre-order.

“It was the last song written for the record,” explains TAYA. “When I looked at the lyrics, I realized it was my testimony put to melody. It’s about God’s faithfulness, no matter the season – a song I can stake my life on, one I will sing for the rest of my life.

The world first heard TAYA on UNITED’s multi-platinum, RIAA-certified global worship anthem “Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)” which was touted to #1 on radio and spent a record 61 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Christian Songs Chart. Since then, his voice has become an unmistakable clarion call for worship throughout the world. During his tenure with UNITED, as well as Hillsong Worship, TAYA has helped manage over a billion global career streams and performed live for over 10 million people in 12 different countries on six continents.

Co-written with Hank Bentley, “For All My Life” is a moving anthem celebrating the dependability of God and the reliability of faith in times of uncertainty. The music video, filmed in TAYA’s childhood bedroom and hometown of Lismore, Australia, contains layered sentiment, evoking the singer’s core roots. “Some days are long / some jobs are hard,” attest the lyrics, “Everything I miss / You make it up.” » Through a joyful melody and vocal prowess she is known for, TAYA expresses complete surrender to God’s plan in the soulful chorus – “I will not lean on / My own / Understanding / I will let go / Am / Empty-handed / You say your yoke is easy / You say the light of your burden / Then I will let you / Lead me / For all my life.”
