Jekalyn Carr Triumphs at the Stellar Gospel Music Awards
On July 25, 2024, in Atlanta, GA, Jekalyn Carr a GRAMMY®-nominated artist and Stellar Award winner, took home five trophies at the 39th Stellar Awards. Gospel Music Awards.
Prices include:
- Traditional Female Artist of The Year,
- Albertina Walker Of The Year,
- Traditional Album of The Year, and
- Traditional Artist of The Year.
Additionally, his most recent album cover won
- the Recorded Music Packaging Of The Year award, designed by Octavius Holmes.
Carr also announced his next project, Jekalyn Carr Presents…The Inspiration Project, which will be released on September 6. This project will highlight Carr’s ability as a singer, songwriter and producer, introducing various new artists with whom she has collaborated over the years.
Appointments and Future Projects
Carr also got two nominations at the 55th GMA Dove Awards for Traditional Gospel Recorded Song of the Year (“I Believe God”) and Traditional Gospel Album of the Year (Jekalyn). The 55th anniversary ceremony GMA Dove Awards will be held on October 1, 2024 at Allen Arena in Nashville, TN.
