Jon Foreman of Switchfoot adds: “I’ve been a fan of Collective Soul and their songs since day one. I can’t believe it took us this long to finally film together. Psyche, it’s finally happening!

Collective Soul celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2019, releasing its critically acclaimed 10th studio album. Blood debuted at No. 3 on Billboards Alternative Albums chart, helping to inject new material into the band’s live sets. I think Blood is the start of a lot of good music to come, said singer and songwriter E Roland after its release. I think it’s the best one we’ve ever done. The band rose to fame with 1993’s Shine, the lead single from the multi-platinum album Hints Allegations and Things Left Unsaid.
Switchfoot has sold nearly 10 million copies worldwide, releasing their 12th full-length album interrobang in August 2021. The album was recorded in a burst of pent-up creativity amid the pandemic in 2020 and 21. They performed sold-out tours playing to millions of fans in over 40 countries following their breakthrough double-platinum album The Beautiful Letdown in 2003, which helped launch the band with a string of alternative radio hits. In 2011, Switchfoot’s seventh studio album, Hello Hurricane, won the Grammy for Best Rock Gospel Album.
