Celebrate UK Christian Music at the Step FWD Awards 2024
The Step FWD Awards are dedicated not only to celebrating the rich history and legacy of Christian music in the UK over the past 40 years but also to acknowledging the remarkable talent that has emerged in the last year. This prestigious event builds on the unique and committed efforts of the UK Christian Charts, harmonizing genres, styles, and cultures within the music community.
For over eight years, AStepFWD has had the honor of managing the UK Christian Charts (UKCC). Since August 2020, the charts have featured a comprehensive system with 12 categories that encompass everything from Contemporary Worship and Gospel to Reggae, Pop, Rap, Afrobeat, and Indie/Folk/Acoustic. To date, over 4,400 tracks from more than 600 new and established artists have been evaluated. The UKCC operates through public voting alongside a panel of over 150 leading influencers and platforms within the UK Christian music scene.

Following a tremendously successful inaugural event last year, this awards ceremony is poised to celebrate numerous exceptionally talented individuals dedicated to glorifying God through their artistic expressions.

The fourth annual Step FWD Awards in 2024 proudly announces that internationally acclaimed female worship leader and music artist Sinach will grace the stage on Saturday, November 23rd, at Fairfield Halls. With her strong UK presence, amplified by her recent album launch and landmark concert at OVO Arena Wembley, Sinach has inspired believers worldwide with beloved contemporary worship anthems. Her popular songs — including “Waymaker,” “I Know Who I Am,” and “The Name of Jesus” — have become synonymous with joyful worship.
In terms of accolades, Sinach is a multi-award-winning songwriter with nine released albums, and her iconic track “Waymaker” has been covered by over 20 artists in more than 50 languages. With over 30 years of devoted ministry, traveling globally to touch hearts with her worship music, we are honored to have Sinach perform at the fourth annual Step FWD Awards.
