RCA Inspiration Celebrates Five Wins at the 51st Annual GMA Dove Awards, with Dove Awards for Tauren WellsKirk Franklin, Travis Greene And Kierra Sheard this year. Winner of two awards, Tauren Wells (Provident Label Group/RCA Inspiration) took home one of the night’s top honors, Contemporary Christian Artist of the Year and Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year, for CITIZEN OF HEAVEN. Kirk Franklin (Fo Yo Soul/RCA) won Contemporary Gospel Album of the Year, for LONG LIVE LOVE. Travis Greene won Gospel Worship Album of the Year, for BROKEN RECORD. Kierra Sheard (Karew Entertainment/RCA Inspiration), won Gospel Worship Recorded Song of the Year for “Something Has to Break (Live)” feat. Tasha Cobbs Leonard.
Tauren Wells and Travis Greene also performed in the show. Wells brought together a historic team of collaborators on the Dove Awards stage, performing her hit song “Famous For (I Believe)” for the first time with Jenn Johnson, Christine D’Clario and Jekalyn Carr. Greene delivered a soaring performance of her chart-topping song “Won’t Let Go” on stage.
