“I had the idea for ‘Amazing Grace (Send Me) [Frerichs Remix]’ from Ezekiel 47 and Zechariah 14, where the river of life flows from the temple into a barren world,” LaHaie explains. “This river calls us to drink the free gift of the water of life. And then it calls us to jump into this raging river and flow with it to offer living water to the world. Working with the Levmusic team in Tel Aviv, Israel, we tried to cinematically capture this raging river of grace and our call to be carried along by it.
“Amazing Grace by Perry (Send Me) [Frerichs Remix]’ is both a beautiful reimagining of the classic hymn and a compelling re-invitation to the heart of God,” says Kevin Winebarger, producer/promoter at Courage Studios. “Perry has sought the Lord for years and now what God has poured into him is impacting people around the world.” LaHaie adds, “My prayer is that this song will inspire us to reach out to our neighbors and nations and do for others what Jesus did for us.”
