Michael Boggs teams up with legend Amy Grant for an exceptional duet on “Come You Unfaithful,” a bold reinterpretation of the hymn “O Come All Ye Faithful” scheduled for release on November 14, 2025. This collaboration marks the evolution of a track that has already enjoyed resounding success in 2024.
Collaboration with Amy Grant
Amy Grant, nicknamed “The Queen of Christian Pop,” brings her iconic voice to this new version. With more than 30 million albums sold worldwide, six Grammy Awards and 26 Dove Awards, Grant remains the most successful CCM artist in the history of contemporary Christian music. This collaboration with Michael Boggs, himself a multiple Dove Award winner, elevates “Come You Unfaithful” to a new level of artistic excellence.
The message of the piece disrupts the traditional perspective of the classic hymn. Michael Boggs explains that he grew up thinking that only the perfect faithful could approach Jesus, before realizing that Christ came for everyone, including the imperfect and sinners. This reinterpretation transforms “O Come All Ye Faithful” into a universal invitation, reminding us that divine grace extends to the unworthy, the unjust and the unfaithful.
Remarkable success in 2024
The original solo version of 2024 generated impressive results on Christian airwaves. The song reached number 46 on the Mediabase Christian Audience chart in December 2024, with airplay on over 70 radio stations across the United States. WBGL Programming Director Ryan Springer testifies that the song received exceptional feedback from listeners, with testimonials from people who were moved to tears.
Produced by Scott Williamson (FFH, Lincoln Brewster, Point of Grace), the track benefits from lush orchestral arrangements by Jason Webb, known for his work with Lauren Daigle, Chris Tomlin and Josh Groban. This high-quality production, supported by Residence Distribution for 2025, is part of an expanded media campaign aimed at propelling “Come You Unfaithful” into a Christmas phenomenon.
