Singer-songwriter, Melanie Penn, will release another new song from her upcoming album, More Alive Vol. 2, Friday May 20. “Peaceis the fifth song Penn has released since January, with “The Story,” “Look Up,” “Just Jump” and the original version of “The Melody” currently available on YouTube.
“Peace” is a calming song that can center us in difficult times, with a piano intro that leads into Penn’s calming vocals. The song is about God’s eternal support even when we face heartbreak and broken pieces in our lives. When the world falls apart/I have your peace/My trust in providence/Keeps me from blowing in the breeze/All my security Is anchored in the promises you made to me/That you make all things new. The song was co-written by Penn and Ben Shive.
Penn will keep the new music flowing with videos coming in June and July, and a new announcement on Monday, May 23.
