Today (June 14), five-time Grammy-nominated artist Matthew West shares a new live video for “Wonderful Life.” The video, filmed in downtown Franklin, TN, can be viewed below. The song was inspired by an experience with a fan named Ron Janca, who was battling ALS and gave West a new perspective on life.

Earlier this year, West announced his sixth book, “The God Who Remains,” scheduled for release on September 6. It includes a deeper perspective of the impact Janca had on West in hopes of inspiring others. For more information, visit thegodwhostays.com.

Doubled by Billboard as’ “ complete”, he scored 12 number ones as and has had 12 No. 1 singles as an artist, including his last multi-week No. 1 song “What If.” He followed up back-to-back No. 1 hits with “The God Who Stays” and “Truth Be Told,” which he later recorded as a duet with country superstar Carly Pearce (here). The hitmaker of the genre is the reigning ASCAP Christian of the Year, his fourth time with this honor in his career. In addition to her several RIAA Gold and Platinum certified singles, fans can hear her on “The Matthew West Podcast” which has just surpassed an impressive 2 million downloads and releases new episodes every week under the “That Sounds Fun” network.
