The British and Irish contingent of the Vineyard Worship family release their first album in some time, a 7-track EP titled “Room At The Table”. After setting the scene with lead single “Awaken Us” and the project’s title track as its second offering, Vineyard Worship now presents its new record in various flavors and colors.
“Room At The Table” came from a writing retreat that took place in late 2021, capturing the wonder of being reunited after two years of global unrest, but also a deep vulnerability and honesty as the authors -composers involved were able to open up to each other again. This EP was born from friendships and collaboration, highlighting the fruit of the Vineyard Worship and Integrity Music partnership over the past several years with features such as Integrity Music’s Lucy Grimble, Nathan Jess, Marc James and Rich Dicas as well as Vineyard Worship leaders Olu Meduoye, Jonny Riggs, Harmony Smith, Jodie Alexander-Frye among others.
As diverse in its contribution, “Room At The Table” also cannot be boiled down to a single theme, but its “patchwork project” aspect gives it a unique wealth of resources for worship leaders and listeners.
Whether one is looking for a Sabbath lullaby like ‘Catch Your Breath’, or a song to bring together like ‘Thanks And Praise’, the new EP covers wide ground in the worship sphere.
Produced by Rich Dicas, the latest Vineyard Worship project features scripture-filled songs, modern psalms, songs of declaration, confession and communion – with God and with each other – as well as melodies that call us to worship with passion and humility. . ‘Room At The Table’ is an overall project that was worth the wait.
The “Room at the Table” EP will be released worldwide on all major digital platforms on Friday, August 5, 2022.
