On Sunday October 20, the Salem church of Delmas 83 marked an important stage by celebrating its 20 years of existence. Founded on October 17, 2004 in Pilgrim 5 by Pasteur Yvrose Mathurin Drouillard and Pasteur Pierre Richard Drouillard, the church crossed two decades of ministry in faith and spiritual growth, and this opportunity was not taken lightly.
From the early hours of the morning, an atmosphere of joy reigned within the church. The special cult, carefully prepared, was a moment of intense worship, vibrant praise and fervent prayers. The faithful, visibly moved and grateful, invaded the place to express their gratitude to God for the benefits accomplished during these twenty years.
The event welcomed several special guests, including pastors and friends from the church, who came to honor this anniversary. Songs, dances, and moments of communion punctuated the celebration, carrying hearts towards sincere and collective praise.
The culmination of worship was the poignant sermon brought by Pastor Jean Valéry Vital-Herne. In a powerful message, he urged the assembly to remain rooted in faith while recalling the spiritual and community impact of the Salem Church.
This unforgettable day left an imprint in the history of the Salem church. By celebrating its 20th anniversary, the church has not only watched its past with pride, but also turned to the future with a renewed faith, ready to continue its mission of evangelization and service.
