Lauren Daigle Receives Plaque Honoring Sixth No. 1 Single “Hold On To Me”

Last night at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Centricity Music presented a plaque to a two-time GRAMMY Award winner, to celebrate her sixth No. 1 single, “Hold On To Me.” The milestone extends Daigle’s record for most No. 1 hits by women on the Hot Christian Songs chart. Since the release of “Hold On To Me,” Daigle has raised money through The Price Fund for organizations that connect to the scenes based on the themes represented throughout the song’s music video. These nonprofits give back to many communities in need and include the Elizabeth Smart Foundation, The Innocence Project – NOLA, IJM, Mighty Oaks Foundation, the Imagination Library, NOCCA, ROOTS of Music, Kid Smart, the Elias Marsalis Foundation and Young Publics. This Friday, September 24, the “ World Tour” will kick off in Fort Wayne, IN before stopping across the including Kansas City, Atlanta, Lafayette, Houston and New Orleans before wrapping up in Nashville on November 19. She will perform her hits, including her latest No. 1 single “Hold On To Me,” the platinum “Rescue” and the 4x platinum No. 1 single “You Say,” as well as tracks from her previous platinum-selling album, How Can It Be. Since the release of his platinum-certified, GRAMMY Award-winning album, reigns over the Billboard Charts. The album debuted at No. 3 on the Top 200 albums chart, making Daigle the first female artist to simultaneously reach the top 10 of both Billboard’s Pop and Christian albums charts. Having spent 100 weeks at No. 1, also holds the record for the most weeks atop any single album chart. Additionally, the GRAMMY Award-winning crossover hit, “You Say,” became the longest-running No. 1 song of any genre on the Billboard Hot 100 weekly charts at an incredible 132 weeks and was recently certified 4x platinum by the RIAA. Daigle has garnered seven Billboard Music Awards, four American Music Awards, ten GMA Dove Music Awards, and sold out concert venues around the world.
