Hot on the heels of the massive success of its debut single “God, Turn It Around” which is ranked #2 on K-LOVE this week and among their top three most requested songs, the song continues to climb in airplay and audience A/ C charts and Mediabase Christian Airplay Top 30 and remains in the top 15 on the Billboard Christian Airplay with streaming numbers exceeding 21 million. Today, Gotee recording artist Jon Reddick released his first full-length album also titled “God, Turn It Around.”
The album is a mix of studio and live versions of previously released songs as well as two previously unreleased live versions of “The Power of Your Name” and “Keep Me Near”. The release day of this project celebrated over 20 editorial playlists during the album launch. A live video performances from “The Power of Your Name” was released on YouTube today.
In addition to the new tracks, this album includes three different versions of the current radio hit “God, Turn It Around.” There is a studio version produced by Paul Moak (House of Heroes, Mat Kearney, Third Day), a live version co-produced by Danny Duncan (Israel Houghton, CeCe Winans, Michael McDonald) and Reddick and a live version co-produced by Duncan and Reddick with Matt Maher.
Reddick says he continues to be amazed at how the Lord uses a song that came out of a season where he saw Him work all things together in his own life.
“Seeing how it connects with people from all walks of life is never lost on me,” he said. “Hearing the stories of how he used this song was truly one of the greatest gifts of my life. I’m so excited to share these different versions of ‘God, Turn It Around’ along with other songs we wrote and recorded both in the studio and live in this debut album!
Gotee founder and artist TobyMac says he’s not surprised by the success of Reddick’s songs and knows these new additions will leave an equally meaningful imprint on listeners’ lives.
“Jon Reddick has been my worship leader for almost a decade now,” shares TobyMac. “He is not only a gifted singer who expresses soul and emotion as well as anyone I have ever heard, but also a songwriter whose words awaken my heart to hope through the love of God. »
Reddick is also one of the worship pastors at City Church in Franklin, TN, working alongside Chris McClarney and led by Pastor Darren Whitehead. City Church’s live recordings of “You Keep Hope Alive” and “God, Turn It Around” which feature Reddick became Top 30 Mediabase Christian Audience radio singles in 2020 and 2021 and top songs on the Air1 radio network: Worship Now.
Reddick has also signed on to join the KLOVE Christmas Tour this fall. Tour dates, locations and programming will be announced soon.
