John P. Kee’s career began in the vibrant music scene of the 1980s. He founded the New Life Community Choir (NLCC) in Charlotte, which became a celebrated group in gospel music. Kee’s talents as a songwriter and performer have led to numerous hits and awards, including 37 GMWA Excellence Awards, 27 Stellar Awards, and seven Grammy nominations.
