Jekalyn Carr, the popular best-selling Gospel star, was presented with the key to the city, by City Commissioner, Natalie Hall, last night, July 14, 2022, also proclaiming it “Jekalyn Carr Appreciation Day.” The event kicked off the exciting weekend of Stellar Awards in Atlanta.
Last night at Bear Tag Entertainment’s Celebrity Basketball at the Riverside Epicenter, Carr received a proclamation and the key to the city in recognition of his success as a gospel artist and his contributions to the community of arts and entertainment in Atlanta and its continued efforts to increase opportunities for young women in Georgia.
Carr, an Atlanta resident, is here for the second year in a row as co-host of the 37th annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards. Last year, she stunned the crowd as the youngest host in TV history. Stellar Awards.
Jekalyn Carr continues to elevate and expand her brand with a string of #1 hits and the launch of the JEKALYN BEAUTY brand. Carr also strengthens her relationship with Praise 102.5 as host of its radio show “Jekalyn Carr Family Affair Show” which airs Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
