After Nine Consecutive No. 1 Debut Singles, GLO Is About to Send “Famous” to Radio Christian Today. The rapper’s latest music / songwriter-performer, whose stage name means God’s Love Only, will be broadcast on Christian Hot AC/CHR and Rhythmic format radio channels.
“My new single offers a vivid lyrical description of what we see happening today on the Church stage and in the world,” shares GLO.
Based on Mark 8:36-37, the lyrics ask ‘What will a man give for his soul?’
“’Famous’ is a reminder,” says GLO, “that Jesus Christ is the name above all names and as followers of Christ we must spread His fame throughout this lost and dying world. »
The song, featuring percussive synths, drums and chimes to produce a fairytale-like sound, is written by Kim Denise Ruiz and produced by Alex Rene Espinoza. A video for “Famous” is available at Youtube. The single was released for streaming on all streaming platforms.
“Famous” is GLO’s 10th single, a release that follows nine singles debuting at No. 1 on ChristianRadio Weekly Chart.
Music has been important to GLO since she was young. When she received Jesus Christ as her Savior in 1998, she asked God to reveal his purpose to her. As she began to write songs, thesongwriter noticed that none of his songs glorified God.
“Everything changed one fateful day,” GLO says, “when God had a Word for me in Bible study: ‘You can’t have one foot in the world and one foot out.’ After receiving this message, it was the breakthrough I needed. I haven’t looked back.
With a ministry that knows no boundaries and reaches young and old, GLO’s prayer is that his music can shatter the misconception that rap is all about the world.
GLO appeared on local networks TBN as well as UK London International TBN. She performed on stage at Gospel Superfest where she shared the platform with artists such as Deitrick Haddon, Lecrae, Dorinda Clark-Cole and others. It has been broadcast on the radio by American and international radio stations.
The post office GLO releases “Famous” appeared first on TCA.
