Getty Music Releases Two Highly Anticipated Projects Before Singing! Conference

Iconic modern hymn writers Keith and Kristyn Getty are thrilled to release their take on the classic hymn “It is in my soul and conscience» today. The powerful song is featured in the film Sabina: Tortured for Christ, the Nazi Yearsproduced by La Voix des Martyrs to tell the story of their founders, Richard and Sabina Wurmbrand. The newsreel deals with persecuted Christians and is particularly poignant at this time in the world. The cinematic video, shot in Northern Ireland, will be released on September 24, 2021.

Sabina: Tortured for Christ, the Nazi Years will premiere at Getty’s Sing! Conference and will be released worldwide November 8-10, 2021. Keith and Kristyn will also perform “It Is Well With My Soul” for the first time during the event.

Getty Music also adds to their extraordinary week with the release of, Almost homethe second album from anthem-writing team Matt Papa & Matt Boswell. Papa & Boswell are the prolific writers of “His Mercy Is More,” which is a top 50 song in America. Papa & Boswell will perform their new album in its entirety at the Sing! Conference on Monday night.

The world-renowned conference returns this year as an in-person event at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN from September 13-15, 2021. Attendees who can’t make it in person can attend virtually as the conference is broadcast to 6 continents and translated into 12 languages.

In addition to the film premiere and album performance, the 2021 Sing! Conference will also feature dozens of plenary and breakout sessions from trusted exhibitors, inspiring worship led by world leaders, daily preview concerts, and many exclusive experiences. The speaker lineup includes a diverse roster including John Piper, Karen Pence, Chris Tomlin, David Platt, John Lennox, Voddie Baucham, and many more.

Other highlights of the three days will be:

Classical music performances by a renowned choir, orchestra and soloists, including a singing of Handel’s Messiah. 30 timeless hymns over the coming year to use in their churches and families Sing! Global Conversations: A series of interviews with thought leaders in the arts, music and Christian culture

This year brings the theme “In Christ Alone” and it is also the 20th anniversary of the iconic hymn.

The Singing! The conference has become one of the most popular worship events in America in recent years. Organizers spent months planning how to rebuild the event from scratch after the COVID pandemic to inspire a global audience with a theological and artistic, while ensuring a collective and immersive experience for viewers.

According to the conference organizers, “This conference is unique in that it brings together leaders, artists, and pastors to deepen worship in local churches by rooting it in Scripture, history, and vibrant art. In a broken world, now is the time to restore spiritual health by rekindling the imagination through poetry, music, and art. And for the sake of our witness, now is the time to come together as God’s people to sing and proclaim to all nations that our hope is found in Christ alone.”
