50-year-old Ghanaian gospel singer Diana Asamoah makes a wish
Diana Asamoah refuses to marry until God approves. During a recent appearance on UTV’s ‘U-Cook’ with Empress Gifty, the gospel singer revealed that she is waiting for divine confirmation before committing despite numerous marriage proposals. Although many men, including some clergymen, have expressed interest in marrying her, she has declined their proposals.
She stressed that her decision to remain single is based on her belief that God has not yet appointed the right partner for her. In the on-set conversation, the singer said, “I have met many men, including men of God. Some had good intentions, some were fake. Until I have God’s approval, I will not marry any of them. I will marry and have children in God’s time.”
Diana Asamoah started her music career in the 90s when she met Rev. Simmon Yaw Boamah in Kumasi. They released her first album “Wo na Mani Agyina wo”. It was at this time that they were introduced to Mr. Anane Frimpong of Frimprince Music Productions who decided to take her under his wing.
So far, Evangelist Diana Asamoah has released 6 albums including “Mabo wo Din”; a song dedicated to Mr. John Agyekum Kufour (President of Ghana in 2002), “Pentecost Gya”; which topped the music charts for months, “Gospel Old Tunes 2”, “Madanse Die” and the latest, “Pentecost Soree Nwom”; which topped the music charts in Ghana
