This edition highlights Haitian representation marked by distinctions in several strategic categories, illustrating the diversity and scope of the movement.
A Haitian presence noticed on the list
The Haitian gospel community has distinguished itself through three major awards:
- Barbara Cassamajor wins Female Artist of the Year – Foreign Language
- Wiliadel Denervil is awarded in the Collaboration Song of the Year – Foreign Language category for “Wont ou yo”, in collaboration with Rosena Josselin Orys
- Jude Samuel Merat receives the Canadian Artist of the Year – Foreign Language award
These distinctions reflect both artistic and structural recognition of Haitian gospel on the international Christian scene.
Barbara Cassamajor: artistic continuity and influence
Barbara Cassamajor continues a trajectory marked by the constancy and development of her musical ministry. She launched her second album in January 2026, after the release of the single “Yon Temwanyaj Tou Nèf” in April 2025.
Her recent career includes participation in the SOS concert in France in November 2025 as well as the SOS concert in Indianapolis in October 2025. She has also performed in Africa and during concerts organized in the Haitian capital.

Wiliadel Denervil: discographic impact and collaborations
The distinction obtained for “Wont ou yo”, released in June 2024, confirms the impact of Wiliadel Denervil in collaborative productions. This title is a continuation of his album “Victory in the name of Jesus”, published in October 2024.
In 2025, she offered the single “Bondye pa bliye w” in collaboration with Salomon Lira. The artist regularly participates in evangelical concerts organized in the Haitian capital, consolidating his presence on the local scene.

Jude Samuel Merat: recognition in a Canadian context
Jude Samuel Merat distinguished himself with the Canadian Artist of the Year – Foreign Language award, a distinction which highlights the involvement of Haitian artists evolving in international environments.
In 2025, he released the title “Lè M Kriye Non Sa (Jezi)” in collaboration with Salomon Lira. At the same time, he participates in evangelical concerts at the local level.
