Renaissance Montréal 2026: a successful second edition over two days
The 2nd edition of the Renaissance concert was held on June 20 and 21, 2026 in Montreal, Canada. The event brought together a large audience and several gospel artists around a rich program, under the musical direction of Poppy Duverné and Maestro Marco Élisée.
Complete programming and strong mobilization
On June 20, the opening was provided by Pastor Jacky Chéry and the animation by Ruth Milius. On June 21, it was Jobson Demero’s turn to take the stage, with John Wesley Delva as master of ceremonies.
Among the artists of this 2nd edition, the public was able to find: Barbara Cassamajor, James Berge, Jean Daniel Pierre, Nelsia Olysse Louis, Gethro The Preacher, Pastor Jean Enock Louis, RJ The Mysterious, Alexandre Osias, Amos Dorisma, Mackenson Fabien, Talitha Laguerre, Alexander Polynice, Hedson Lamour, Rechanka Dorestil and Rose Henry.
The 2026 edition was also marked by strong international mobilization. A delegation of 23 people from the United States, including members of the Jehud group, traveled to support Poppy Duverné. Among them were Johnny Jovin, Gabriel Dégazon, Roosevelt Jean-Noël, JM Guerrier (former manager based in Boston), as well as Claude Aurélien and their families.
Technical challenges and adjustments
On the evening of June 20, although the technical team had to face constraints linked to late access to the site, the performances were warmly received by the public. According to the testimony of a participant, satisfaction was also in the majority.
For the last day of Renaissance, the technical aspects were 80% perfectly aligned, allowing all the artists to give the best of themselves. The engagement of the audience, the work of the technicians and the general atmosphere greatly improved the experience of this spiritual concert, providing a much smoother flow. The audience left won over. For her first time in Canada, Barbara Cassamajor was able to make a strong impression and particularly shone.
Official announcement from Poppy Duverné
Poppy Duverné also took the opportunity to confirm that her album, initially titled Renaissancewill not be released under this name. Due to title conflicts and other strategic factors, the project will ultimately be released under the title Guided Soul.
