“House of Worship” – The Christian Musical Union is preparing to score 2026
In January 2026, the Christian music scene is preparing to experience an unprecedented event: the release of “House of Worship”, a collaborative album bringing together twenty-five major artists of contemporary music, Gospel and Country. Initiated in the dynamics of unity, this project will be published by The Fuel Music and promises to redefine the celebration of the song of worship, by offering new duos on timeless hymns. The inaugural title, a powerful revisit of the classic “Shout to the Lord” interpreted by Darlene Zschech and Cece Winans, will be available from August 22, 2025, preparing the field for the release of the album.
The origin of “House of Worship” dates back to February 6, 2024, during an unprecedented rally at World Wide Stages, Spring Hill, Tennessee. Michael W. Smith, an essential figure (45 Dove Awards) and Darlene Zschech, a pioneer of modern worship, brought together a host of emblematic artists – Kari Jobe, Cody Carnes, Chris Brown, Matt Redman, Hillary Scott, Paul Baloche, Tim Hughes, among others – with them. Their ambition: to transcend generational and stylistic boundaries within worship music, by combining various voices and routes around songs with spiritual stroke.
Carried by the musical direction of Paul Mabury and John Hartley, the recording was distinguished by its immersive formula “in-the-round”, promoting spontaneity and artistic communion. “House of Worship” is therefore not only the reinterpretation of classics, but a manifesto of unity and depth, designed to touch and federate all Christian generations.
The upcoming release of the album and the single event marks a major step in the news of world praise, preparing a potential national distribution indoor and already arousing the enthusiasm of the communities and leaders of worship.
