A dress worn by Carrie Underwood joins the collections of the Museum of Christian & Gospel Music located in Nashville, Tennessee. The museum unveiled this new piece on November 12, 2025, one month after its official opening on October 3, 2025.
The Monique Lhuillier dress from the My Savior show
The dress on display was designed by Monique Lhuillier and worn by Carrie Underwood during her special concert My Savior: LIVE From The Rymanairing Easter Sunday 2021. The show was taped at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, located a few blocks from the museum.
This floral dress with a full skirt accompanied the artist during her performance of traditional anthems from her album My Savioralongside Cece Winans, Buddy Greene, Gordon Mote and Bear Rinehart of NEEDTOBREATHE.
The My Savior album and GRAMMY recognition
The album My Saviorreleased in 2021, won the GRAMMY Award for Best Roots Gospel Album in 2022. Carrie Underwood said of this album: “This music shaped who I am as a person and is the foundation of my career as a recording artist.”
The single “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” in collaboration with CeCe Winans, from the album My Saviorwon the GMA Dove Award for Inspirational Recorded Song of the Year in 2021.

On October 7, 2025, Carrie Underwood performed at the GMA Dove Awards at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, joining Ben Fuller to perform their duet “If It Was Up To Me.”
The Museum of Christian & Gospel Music
The Museum of Christian & Gospel Music opened on October 3, 2025 in Nashville, Tennessee. Steve Gilreath serves as Founding Executive Director, reporting to Jackie Patillo, President of the Gospel Music Association (GMA).
The museum spans 11,000 square feet and showcases more than 500 significant historical events as well as 300 artists through videos, photographs, artifacts and interactive exhibits. The opening ceremony welcomed Tennessee Governor Bill Lee, Tourism Commissioner Mark Ezell, and artists Natalie Grant, Dr. Bobby Jones, Terrain and Rachael Lampa.
The “Radiant in the Spotlight” exhibit, located in the Dove Theater, features dresses worn by several artists including Dottie Rambo, Natalie Grant, CeCe Winans, Lauren Daigle and now Carrie Underwood.
