Seven-time Grammy Award winner Carrie Underwood returns with a new album of gospel hymns, My Savior, as well as a Special Live Virtual Concert on Easter Sunday. Joining NBC’s TODAY Live, she said, “I got to go into the studio to sing these songs that are so hopeful and so peaceful… I hope people find some peace and comfort in these songs.”
Carrie also gave special performances of “Just As I Am” and “Victory In Jesus” from the show’s new album. Check it out below.
Underwood follows the extraordinary success of her recent Christmas album, My Gift, with an album of gospel hymns, titled My Savior. My Savior is co-produced by Underwood and GRAMMY Award winner David Garcia. My Savior, which features covers of traditional gospel hymns that Underwood grew up singing, is a spiritual companion to Underwood’s first-ever Christmas album.
