Nigerian gospel psalmist and revivalist Dunsin Oyekan has released “Burn,” a powerful live worship collaboration with American artist John Wilds on February 6, 2026. The 27-minute single, distributed exclusively by Integrated Music Rights, serves as a stirring call to spiritual revival and consecration.
Produced by Dunsin Oyekan with mixing and mastering by Dafydd Thomas, “Burn” centers on the theme of divine purification through holy fire. The song opens with chants of “Burn, burn, burn” and “Sing, sing, sing,” establishing worship as surrendered living rather than mere performance. Through repeated declarations like “My life is the worship You want to hear” and “Holy fire burn on my altar,” the track invites believers into deeper intimacy with God.
Speaking about the release, Oyekan described the song as a supernatural sound that “invaded time with that which is timeless.” He emphasized the distinction between water’s cleansing work and fire’s irreversible purifying power, noting that “Jesus baptizes not with water, but with fire.” The collaboration merges Nigerian and American gospel traditions, with Wilds bringing his experience from contemporary worship movements.
The accompanying live worship video captures the intensity of the recording session, featuring extended prophetic worship and prayer. This marks Oyekan’s second single of 2026, following “Amen” featuring Pastor E.A. Adeboye released in January.
