Today, multi-talented singer-songwriter Blessing Offor released the latest single, “How Much You Mean To Me,” from his debut EP Brighter Days. Ethereal synthesizers anchored by distant guitars set the mood for the new track before Blessing’s captivating vocals take center stage. With his smooth, expansive voice, Blessing goes on to reveal a love he’s discovered “no song can contain” and “no words can ever explain.” Blessing’s expressions of positivity and affection, backed by catchy earworm melodies, form the foundation of his upcoming EP. To coincide with the single, Blessing has also released a live video for “How Much You Mean To Me (Live from East Iris).” The video gives an intimate glimpse into Blessing’s musical abilities, as he accompanies himself on the piano while giving an effortless vocal performance. Blessing’s ability to bring emotion to life is evident, and each song acts as a window into Blessing’s extraordinary songwriting. The EP’s title track and lead single have already made an impact, with “Brighter Days” being placed on episodes of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy and CBS’s The Equalizer. Pre-Order Brighter Days HERE.
The youngest of six siblings, the Nigerian-born singer-songwriter immigrated to the United States with his uncle at the age of six. Born blind in one eye, Blessing’s parents sent him to the United States in an effort to restore his vision, though he sadly lost his full sight by the age of 10. Gravitating toward the piano before he lost his sight, Blessing’s school teachers helped nurture his talent, and he soon found himself at Belmont University honing his craft in Music City. Hints of pop, Motown, and soul flourish in Blessing’s music as he sings of optimism, hope, and finding silver linings in dark clouds. Blessing’s seven-song EP, Brighter Days, is out February 25.
