Early Life & Education: She is the second of seven children. Interestingly, she studied Physics at the University of Port Harcourt before fully committing to her music ministry.

Musical Career: She spent over 30 years as a senior worship leader at Believers' Loveworld (Christ Embassy) under Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. She released her first album, Chapter One, in 2008, but has been writing songs since 1989.

Global Impact: She is the author of the world-renowned anthem "Way Maker," which has been covered by dozens of international artists (like Michael W. Smith and Leeland) and translated into over 50 languages.

Major Achievements: She was the first African artist to top the Billboard Christian Songwriters chart (holding the #1 spot for 12 weeks). She is also a BMI and GMA Dove Award winner.

Base: She is primarily based in Lagos, Nigeria, where she lives with her husband, Joseph Egbu, and their daughter.

Activity: As of April 2026, she is in the middle of a major international tour. She recently performed in the Caribbean and South America (Brazil) in March. Her current schedule for April 2026 includes a series of "Sinach Live" concerts across South Africa (Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town) and a tour through Canada later this month. She continues to lead her own ministry, Sinach Live in Concert (SLIC).
