Aquela Dorvil unveils her third album “Kounye a”
Christian singer Aquela Dorvil officially unveiled, on Saturday July 25, her third album entitled “Kounye a”.
After “Pale Pou Mwen”, released in 2015, and “Fèl pou mwen Papa”, published in 2019, the singer adds a new project to his artistic repertoire. According to him, this opus marks a new important stage in his musical ministry.
Singer, journalist and communicator, Aquela Dorvil has established himself over the years as a committed voice on the Haitian evangelical scene. Through his songs, he transmits a message of hope, faith and encouragement.
Beyond his artistic career, Aquela Dorvil is also socially engaged. He is the founder of the Pale Pou Mwen Foundation, a non-profit and non-governmental organization which mainly works for disadvantaged children.
In this new opus, called “Kounye a”, the artist recalls a truth that is particularly close to his heart: God acts in the present, even today. He thus launches a call to believe that no situation is irreversible when God decides to intervene.
“No matter what we have been through, there is always a now, a moment when God can open a door, restore a life and fulfill his promises,” he confides. A message intended for all people who are going through periods of waiting, trial or discouragement.
Inspired by his own journey with God, this album was born in prayer and was built through the experiences that marked his ministry. It is the fruit of several years of waiting, perseverance and trust in God, reveals the artist. Despite the financial and technical challenges encountered during its completion, he claims to have seen the Lord’s faithfulness manifested at each stage.
Through this new album, Aquela Dorvil wishes to strengthen the faith of Christians, give hope to those who are going through difficult times and remind us that God continues to act today.
Following this release, the artist plans several activities, including concerts, a promotional tour as well as new musical and community projects. Faithful to his vision, he intends to continue, through his ministry and the Pale Pou Mwen Foundation, his mission to announce the Gospel and bring a message of hope and social transformation to as many people as possible using music as an instrument.
The album “Kounye a” is now available on the main download and online listening platforms.
