“It’s going to be fun to share these songs live that we just recorded at White Dove Barn,” she says. “I’m really excited to share the new song, ‘No Place Like Home,’ because it’s my favorite song that I’ve ever written. It’s about memories of my brother Jacob and I. It’s truly an incredible song that captures the times we spent together as siblings on my grandfather’s farm. I will always cherish those memories that we have with him and I’m ready to share them with the world. I wrote this song the same day as ‘My Jesus’ with Jeff and Matthew and we wrote it in about 10 minutes! It all came together so well.”
While she has experienced the tragic season of losing her brother at a young age due to a car accident, she is also in a new season where God is supporting her and her family through difficult times. A story that so many can relate to and connect with. Fans will be able to tune in in person this fall, as she can be seen on the Big Daddy Weave “All Things New” tour. Today, she is also releasing a special live version of “My Jesus” with co-writer Matthew West from her recent West Friends Fest last month.
