There Gospel Music Association (GMA) has announced the nominees for the 55th GMA Dove Awards. Brandon Lake stands out with sixteen nominations, including the coveted Artist of the Year. Jeff Pardo follows closely with eleven nominations, while Chris BrownChandler Moore and Jonathan Smith each have ten. CeCe Winans and Naomi Raine lead the female nominations with five recognitions each. These nominations were announced this morning on SiriusXM The Message by Tauren Wellshost of the GMA Dove Awards.
Ceremony Information – GMA Dove Awards
The 55th GMA Dove Awards, produced in partnership with Cantinas Arts Foundation, will be held on October 1, 2024, at Allen Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. The event will air exclusively on TBN and TBN+ and simulcast on SiriusXM The Message on October 4, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. ET. A replay will be available on TBN and TBN+ on Friday, October 11 at 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. ET. Some tickets to the Music City Fan Experience remain available for fans.
Theme and Selection Process
The theme of the 55th GMA Dove Awards is Unite The Song. According to the host Tauren WellsUnite the song is a call to unity for the faithful, aiming to bring together the various streams of the Church around a common song of praise. This year’s nominations were selected from over 2,500 submitted entries, with the final vote taking place from 1st to 8th August 2024.
