Here is the secret to an effective prayer life with God : Always ask goodbye to do His will in every area of your life.
Jeremiah 29: 11
11 For I know the plans that I have made for you, says the Lord, plans for peace and not for disaster, that I may give you a future and hope.
Because His will is the best thing that can happen to you. It corresponds to projects of peace and not of misfortune to give you a future and hope. His will speaks of what He desires for your life, of His intentions for you. God knows all things, and He knows better than you what you need. He is much wiser than you so trust Him!
However, the reality is this: God's will for your life will not happen automatically! You must pray, plead, insist and persist in prayer so that what corresponds to His will is manifested in your life.
Do not ask for anything else because He will never commit to doing what is not His will. He is not a human head of state seeking re-election or popularity in the polls to execute the whims of men. God is the most magnificent of the rulers of the universe and of eternity. He is sovereign, He does what He wants and He is under no pressure from anyone.
Isaiah 46: 10
10 I foretold from the beginning what is to come to pass, and long in advance what is not yet fulfilled; I say: My decrees will stand, and I will do all my will.
So if you want God to always be on your side, pray that His will will be done in your life. His will is your security because God only engages in a project when it corresponds to His will. This is the best thing that can happen to you because when you are in His will, you are guaranteed that He is with you! And if God with you, who will be against you?
8 Romans: 31
31 What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who will be against us?
