Here is the secret of prayer life effective with God: Always ask God to accomplish His will in every area of your life.
Jeremiah 29:11
11 For I know the plans that I have planned for you, declares the LORD, plans for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and hope.
Indeed, His will is the best thing that can happen to you. It corresponds to projects of peace and not of misfortune to give you a future and hope. His will speaks of what He desires for your life, of His intentions for you. God knows all things, and He knows what you need better than you. He is much wiser than you so trust Him!
However, the reality is this: God’s will for your life will not happen automatically! You must pray, plead, insist, and persist in prayer for what is His will to be manifested in your life.
Do not ask for anything else because He will never commit to doing what is not His will. He is not a human head of state seeking re-election or popularity in the polls to fulfill the whims of men. God is the most magnificent head of state in the universe and eternity. He is sovereign, He does what He wants and He is not pressured by anyone.
Isaiah 46:10
10 I declare from the beginning what must come to pass, and long in advance what is not yet accomplished; I say: My judgments will stand, And I will carry out all my will.
So if you want God to always be on your side, pray that His will be accomplished in your life. His will is your security because God only commits to a project when it corresponds to His will. This is the best thing that can happen to you because when you are in His will, you are guaranteed that He is with you! And if God is with you, who will be against you?
Romans 8:31
31 What then shall we say concerning these things? If God is for us, who will be against us?
