In the disturbed political landscape of Haiti, a new controversy shakes the presidential transitional council (CPT). At the center of this storm is Pastor Frinell Joseph, an influential member of the CPT, accused of being involved in the disappearance of 19 million gourdes initially intended for the national carnival “Haiti standing”. These funds, after the cancellation of the event, would have been promised for a religious activity called “Wednesday of grace”, is it the same event as ” Madi Grasss or Tuesday of the Grace Who has never seen the light of day in Henfraza?
Since then, allegations have multiplied: would the pastor have diverted these funds for personal purposes rather than returning them to the state funds?
The Bible teaches us in 1 Timothy 3: 2-3 that a spiritual manager “must be irreproachablehusband of a single woman, sober, moderate, settled in her conduct, hospital, specific to teaching. He must neither be induced to wine, nor violent, but indulgent, peaceful, disinterested. »»
Similarly, Proverbs 11: 3 reminds us that “the integrity of the right men directs them, but the detours of the treacherous cause their ruin. These precepts emphasize the importance of integrity and transparency, particularly in those who occupy positions of spiritual and political authority.
Faced with this worrying situation which raises fundamental questions about the management of public funds and ethics within the CPT, we invite all Haitians, wherever they are, to share their opinion on this case anonymously. Your opinion counts in this national debate which relates to the values of transparency and integrity that we all wish to see flourish in Haiti.
