A World of Disinformation and Harmful Propaganda

In our modern world, misinformation and harmful propaganda are spreading more than ever. This is particularly worrying in the religious sphere, where some seek to shake the faith of believers with lies and manipulation.

The Absence of Evangelical Leaders

Where are the evangelical leaders? Why don’t they take a clear stand to guide the flock towards the right attitude? Is this a responsible act or not, especially when we know that this story of this young man who left the for Vodou has already surfaced in 2022? It was announced on the show Blessed Platform in May 2022, but for some unknown reason she strangely reappears in July 2024.

Is this a spiritual strategy? A preparation for a future uprising? What is certain is that a large number of is used to spread this message quickly, as if it were something new, without realizing that propaganda will not change hearts but will harden them.

The in the Face of Disinformation

What is the role of a true leader in a Christian community in the face of a wave of disinformation?

On the we see many pastors, apostles and men or women, come forward to share words of blessings, prosperity and miracles. Is this their role initially or only in Haiti?

In theory, these have a responsibility to educate and inform their community about the dangers of misinformation. They must equip their members with the tools to distinguish truth from lies and critically evaluate sources of information.

But when it comes to the essential questions, where are they?

Yet pastors must confront any form of misinformation or propaganda head-on. They must confront lies, proclaim the truth in love, and hold accountable those who seek to sow discord or confusion among believers. By standing firm in the face of deception, pastors can preserve the integrity of their community’s faith and protect their members from deviation.
