Prayer sincere, continual, and persistent is an essential part of the Christian life and stems from our dependence on God.
Paul enjoins believers to pray at all times (Eph.6:18), to devote themselves to prayer (Col.4:2).
When we surrender to our Heavenly Father, all thoughts, actions, and circumstances in life become opportunities to communicate with him. Thus, we constantly have our ideas directed to things above.
From the morning, let us know how to make of everything a subject of prayer and that it is thus during all the day. Let us treat the Lord as our personal friend, a friend able and willing to help us in all things.
Let us live in a perpetual awareness of the presence of God, so our life will be a happy life.
This week we begin SALVATION which is the pledge of eternal life, the restoration of a harmonious relationship between God and us.
