1Our focus on worship
For some time now, on the Facebook page of BGospel Magazine, we have made a habit of posting Bible verses about worship and praise.
Many people boast of being worshipers, and God has blessed us with many psalmists who compose extraordinary songs.
I will try in the following lines to present to you the essential points of a true worshiper who gives praise and worship that God accepts.
2First, a true worshiper must be true in his worship.
Sometimes we sing, or declare God, you are wonderful, you are powerful, you are everything to me, etc. but do we really believe it? saying that God can do anything is one thing, but believing it is another.
The same mouth that says: “my God can do everything, my God will deliver me from all evil” well, it's the same mouth that curses God when everything goes wrong. You may say to yourself, I have never cursed God. But is the doubt that you allow to poison your life, the fear and worry that ravages you, a way of honoring God?
3Second a true worshiper walks in obedience
sometimes we make so much sacrifice, getting up early to go to church, participating in every rehearsal if we are part of the choir, we make extraordinary sacrifices for the kingdom. Everyone sees our zeal for the kingdom of God, but in our hearts, the will of God is our last concern.
The Bible states in 1 Samuel 15:22 that obedience is better than sacrifice. It's okay to serve God, it's okay to sacrifice for the kingdom, it's okay to sing, to praise, to honor God, but if we don't obey his word, it's worth nothing. do them, it was better not to do anything.
Because what God wants is our obedience to his will and that we be holy.
4Third, a true worshiper of God loves his neighbor
Perhaps this should have been the first point, because the Bible states in 1 Corinthians 13:1-4 that if we do not practice Love, everything we do is in vain.
And secondly, he loves his neighbor because he knows that without love God cannot dwell in him.
In short, there are so many things to say to describe a true worshiper, as a true worshiper is humble, an intimate of God, a true worshiper is a servant, a true worshiper is generous, but I summarize them in these three listed points above.
To be true in worship, to be obedient to the Word of God, and walk in love. If you manage to build your life on these three things, it is impossible not to possess the other qualities that will make you a true worshiper.
