Spiritual and cultural treasure of humanity, the Bible in its various forms has been transmitted for centuries by men and women who are committed because of their faith, their love of the text and their skills, to copy and transmit this jewel literary.
A time of upheaval and questioning, we want to invite you to continue the wonderful adventure of spreading the Bible, a living book for a living God!
We are calling here for all those of good will, everyone can participate, of any age, country, confession… Each voluntary copyist chooses the chapter of the New Testament or the Psalms that he wants to copy, following the instructions requested (see attached document).
The translation of the Bible used will be that of the New Bible Fluent French (NFC), interfaith, French-speaking and accessible.
It is also possible to illustrate, illuminate one of the presentation pages which presents each of the biblical books.
The result? a unique Biblebut composed of very diverse handwritings, a collective work which creates the link, a work beautiful to see and to read, to circulate, to transmit to as many people as possible a message of exceptional richness.
This Bible will be published by the Alliance Biblique Française and can be distributed throughout the French-speaking world.
To extend this work of transmission, the original copy of this Bible will be able to circulate in Churches and parishes and be the subject of a presentation accessible to all.
