The New Executive Committee of the FPH Invested and Installed

The new committee of the Protestant Federation of Haiti was invited on Sunday, September 15, 2019 to go solemnly to the Church of God of the First Christians led © by Pastor Gérald Bataille. As members of the outgoing committee, leaders, mission leaders and political figures, Pastor Calixte Fleuridor, new president of the FPH, spoke for a new team to take the decisions which impose themselves on the most important Protestant structure in the country for the next four years.

This highly symbolic ceremony closes a particularly long electoral process since May 31. Political instability obliges, the electoral council is best seen by a second round which opposes the pastors Vijonet Déméro and Calixte Fleuridor, ballots won transparently by the latter.

The accession to the presidency of the FPH of Pastor Fleuridor takes on another dimension when he is replaced by the position of Pastor Sylvain Exantus after three successive mandates spread out over twelve years of governance. Pastor Exantus is the joy of his journey. The former president of the Federation also praised the work of the electoral commission which completed the process which resulted in a new executive committee.

Pastor Fleuridor, for his part, greeted me and thanked me for coming forward to head the FPH while recalling certain campaign promises. . Superintendent of the Assembly of God mission in Haiti also launched a dynamic message to stakeholders in the field, according to him, or as part of a vast project which consists of enhancing the image of the federation and to work for renewal.

The party of a new conference executive meeting on a year-old quarter on a night time, September 17, at the premises of the Protestant Federation of Haiti, in Frères. As a retiring committee member, Pastor Fleuridor and his team became acquainted with the new workspace which was occupied for the next four years.
