Bobbi Storm creates a stir on a Delta Airlines flight
An exclusive concert was organized and it seems that not everyone appreciated it. Last Friday, Bobbi Storm, a gospel singer, performed a show aboard a Delta Airlines flight. Despite a crew member’s request, she refused to interrupt. This information was reported by CBS NewsLe Parisien and 20minutes.fr.
During takeoff, a singer from the group Maverick City Music performed a song in the center aisle of the plane, according to a video shared on Instagram. However, a crew member asked him to sit down and be quiet. The singer responded by saying she will sit down, but will continue to sing, saying she is not causing any disturbance.
“I carry out the will of the Lord by fulfilling his request”
Bobbi Storm was sitting in her seat when she excitedly shared with the passengers around her that her band had just been nominated for a Grammy Award. The announcement was met with applause and smiles. As she continued to explain how she wanted to share her song with everyone on board, the steward came back and kindly asked her if she could keep her cool.
Bobbi Storm asked: If they like it, why can’t I do it from where I am? The flight attendant replied firmly, I don’t like it, so I ask you to keep silent. The singer replied: I do what the Lord asks me to do.
Internet users decried an unacceptable attitude.
The steward warned the artist who continued to speak and sing, telling him: If you do not follow my instructions, you will be asked to get off this flight, he firmly stated. The outcome of this scene remains unknown, however, the following day, the singer shared a new video on Instagram, where she explained that the airline had apologized to her.
