The GOD IS GREAT choir, commonly known by the acronym DEG, had planned to celebrate its 10th anniversary with great fanfare this year. However, the festivities were forced to be postponed due to ongoing insecurity conditions in the region.
Already last year, the choir had to end its stage performances after its 9th anniversary celebration concert, due to the same security concerns. Despite the hope of a return to the stage this year to mark their decade of existence, circumstances did not allow this long-awaited event to materialize.
