Good evening,
The Word of God exhorts us to always rejoice in the Lord, that is, to always be joyful.
Joy in Jesus from God does not depend on external conditions, but comes from communion with Christ. It has its root in the grace and salvation of God.
This joy called the joy of Jesus Christ and, our joy in various respects is greater than the various joys of the world even in the most painful circumstances. Paul had experienced this, otherwise he would not have been able to write while he was in prison: “rejoice in the Lord always,” always, that is, in all circumstances.
You may be wondering how to increase your level of joy in the Lord or how to face each new day with the joy of the Lord renewed in your heart?
The answer is: “Pray and rejoice”
Just as we can learn to love simply by loving, we can also acquire a joyful spirit by rejoicing.
Never miss the opportunity to tell Jesus how much you love him, to your brothers how important they are to you, to make a friend smile when he needs it and to smile yourself.
Therefore entrust to the Lord your tired nerves and your hours of sleeplessness. Seek to bring with the joy that Jesus gives new vigor to your weakened nerves. Always be cheerful. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you (1 Thess 5:16).
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in faith, so that you abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit! Romans 15:13
