As the first half of the year comes to an end and the confinement period continues, online meetings are increasing and new titles are emerging. June brought us engaging topics within the evangelical music scene. The return of the Allélluia group in celebration of its 25th anniversary is one of these notable highlights, generating enticing promises for the future.
Recent releases include the group’s latest track “Alleluia,” titled “Li poko twà ta,” alongside the new track from the group “Amen,” “Jwa Pam.” This latest musical formation emerged following a split, allowing the general public to witness the evolution of talents that were once closely connected in the cause of evangelization through music. While the mission remains unchanged, the teams have shifted their focus to achieve even greater success.
In response to a potential reconciliation of the “prodigal sons,” the founding maestro of the Alleluia group, Judson Jean Louis, chose to look towards the future, promising a partnered Alleluia-Amen performance. “We have shared and achieved far too much together in ministry for our story to end there. I would like to invite the group ‘Amen’ to share the stage at our next performance in Haiti,” declared the group leader.
While these statements are tantalizing and suggest potential collaboration, the realization of such a reunion will require more convincing elements. The hope for the convergence of these two parallel paths does not belong solely to the realm of geometry but may require divine intervention.
