Former Liverpool striker and Brazilian football star Roberto Firmino was recently ordained as pastor of an evangelical church in Maceio, Brazil. Sharing photos from the ceremony on Instagram, Firmino expressed his gratitude for the new pastoral role.
Since his encounter with Christ, he has felt a deep desire to share this love with others. Despite his religious commitment, Firmino continues to play football for Saudi Pro League team Al-Ahli.
