Alternative, post-rock Alex Henry Foster influences album sales worldwide with his triple vinyl/double CD live set and concert film Standing Under Bright Lights following its release on April 16. digital and streaming releases everywhere from Records of tragedy of hopethe success of the recording No. 4 in Canada (#1 iTunes Top Albums), debuted at No. 6 in Australia and reached No. 13 in the UK. Originally from Montreal and now residing in the Virginia Highlands, Foster’s full 11-piece concert, Standing Under Bright Lights, was recorded live in front of a sold-out crowd. With the main singles “Hannah’s son” And “Winter is coming»Which has received hundreds of thousands of plays on numerous playlists, Standing Under Bright Lights features all of the songs from Foster’s debut solo album, Windows in the Sky, which reached No. 1 multiple times on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart, remaining in the Top 40 on the chart for a year after its release. The songs from that celebrated album were reimagined for the live recording as the band performed with a film projection produced by Foster. At nearly 2 hours and 30 minutes long, the concert at which Standing Under Bright Lights was recorded is now considered one of the best concerts of the 40th anniversary of the Montreal International Jazz Festival.

Playing new music and fan favorites on tour, Foster and his band are preparing for an international tour with 23 dates in Europe is expected to begin next month, pandemic permitting.
