Curb | Word Entertainment’s Sidewalk Prophets announces changes to “The Chosen Tour,” continuing to innovate with first-of-its-kind technology and out-of-the-box creativity. This live concert experience, which begins 11/5, will be available regionally across the country, allowing more fans in more cities to participate in the concert experience based on the region of the country they live in. Fans will also have the rare opportunity to determine the band’s set list in real-time for each show, ensuring that each performance is completely unique. While each concert will be broadcast to a different region of the country with a different set of fans each night, Sidewalk Prophets will perform each show live from their home venue in Nashville.
With “The Great Big Family” in mind, the band launched their innovative livestreaming platform earlier this year when COVID-19 pressed pause on live events and large gatherings. Named for the band’s current single that’s gaining momentum on Christian radio, “The Chosen Tour” follows the extraordinary success of Sidewalk Prophets’ first livestream concert, “The Virtual Album Experience,” which took their latest album, The Things That Got Us Here, directly to over 25,000 viewers in 32 cities.
“We’re really excited about these new regional live dates because it allows so many more people to attend the show. We miss being able to play live shows, but at the same time, we’ve really enjoyed this season of connecting with fans in unique and creative ways,” says Sidewalk Prophets frontman Dave Frey. “The most fun part of the whole experience is letting the audience choose our set list in real time. It keeps us on our toes and every night is completely different from the next. It’s a lot of fun for the fans, and it’s a lot of fun for us!” Frey adds.
Another exciting update to “The Chosen Tour” is that tickets are free or paid. During this unprecedented time, Sidewalk Prophets is committed to spreading joy through music, regardless of whether fans are unable to purchase a full-price ticket. Only one ticket is required per household, and fans have premium ticket options, which include the livestream, a VIP pre-show party ($34.99), and a live shout-out during the concert ($24.99).
