Sariah – Princesses of God – the new born of the HGMI
Sariah is a Hebrew name which means “Princesses of God”. This is what was chosen as the name for this musical grouping which was born on December 8, 2013. Composed of: Christ-Ami CEMÉDaniella Benjamine PIERRE, Juline Victoria PIERRE, Marie Brunette B. MAINSOUR, Nerlande D. AVRIL, Nerline SAMEDI, Sonèse CHARLES, Sariah performs under the baton of Maestro Charlson Duverné known as “Poppy”.
Their first appearance on stage on March 9, 2014 caused a buzz and since then the group has continued to be talked about both through magazines and on the social networks. Sariah rode this wave of curiosity to please this thirsty audience by releasing their demo of two tracks: “Ajenou” and “Glwa pou Li”, successively composed by Poppy and Brunette.
Sariah is an alloy of several styles due to the experience of these members in Gospel, Opera, Pop, Jazz, Blouse, RnB, Compas to name just a few. We can therefore expect a lot from this training which aims to exalt the name of the Almighty.
