On Monday, October 11, 2021, MOBO-nominated gospel artist and worship leader Sarah Téibo launches the Church Unboxed podcast. Joined each week by guests sharing their experiences, the podcast will tackle topics that most Christians are sometimes too afraid to talk about.
Church Unboxed is not your average faith-based podcast. It’s not for the easily offended. It’s not a superficial summary of contemporary culture. It’s about uncovering the issues that have been swept under the rug and hearing from people who have felt marginalized and sometimes even ignored.
“Now I’m not here to preach or tell you what to think,” explains the London-based musician, “but I’m on a mission to shake up the neat little box we’ve put the church in.”
This podcast is geared toward church sustainability, encouraging constructive input, inspiration, and progressive understanding. This is not passive listening, but a chance for the audience to participate in important discussions they may not have heard or considered before, or felt safe to talk about openly.
In a world of information overload, “cancel culture,” and constant division, this podcast will provide a safe space to engage in challenging, honest, and sometimes uncomfortable conversations that are crucial and could have a long-term impact on the church. Church Unboxed is here to guide and help people around the world, in their journey of trials and faith.

By delighting in the house of the Lord, Church Unboxed reframes the approach to church and is a chance to be part of the growth.
