Sanctus Real is a prominent American Christian rock band formed in Toledo, Ohio, in 1996. Over nearly three decades, they have achieved significant milestones, including two Grammy nominations, a GMA Dove Award, and multiple No. 1 singles such as “Lead Me” and “Forgiven.” The band, currently composed of Chris Rohman, Mark Graalman, and Dustin Lolli, continues to evolve musically and lyrically, most recently releasing their 2024 album “All Along.” Their latest single, “The Difference,” exemplifies their ongoing commitment to delivering messages of hope and transformation through faith.

On October 1, 2024, Sanctus Real performed a full-length concert at Grafton Correctional Facility in Grafton, Ohio, as part of the Send Musicians to Prison initiative. The event was designed to bring a message of hope and encouragement to hundreds of incarcerated individuals. A special four-song video set from this concert is now available to the public, while the complete performance is distributed free of charge to inmates, reaching over 200,000 people monthly through the sponsoring organization. The concert highlighted the band’s compassionate approach and their desire to connect authentically with audiences, regardless of venue.

During the Grafton concert, Sanctus Real performed their latest single, “The Difference,” which is set for nationwide radio release on June 18, 2025. Described by Worship Leader Magazine as “a bold anthem of hope and transformation in Christ,” the song reflects the band’s renewed focus on writing music that addresses the challenges and spiritual needs of contemporary listeners. The band has made resources such as chord charts and multitracks available to worship leaders and continues to engage fans with behind-the-scenes content and instructional videos.
